Quit Alcohol

Break Free From Alcohol

What if you could approach your relationship with alcohol differently?

Maybe you’ve tried cutting back before. You set rules for yourself, only on weekends, only one or two, but somehow it never quite sticks. Or perhaps you don’t think it’s a “serious” problem, but you notice alcohol has become the default way to unwind, cope with stress, or get through social situations.

Whatever your relationship with alcohol looks like, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

A Personal Understanding

I bring more than professional training to this work. Through my own journey overcoming alcohol dependence and 25 years of studying subconscious therapies, I understand the shame, the fear that without alcohol you won’t feel like yourself, and how discouraging it can be when you’ve tried to change before and it hasn’t lasted.

The truth is, you’re not weak. You’re not broken. Your mind has learned to use alcohol as a way to cope, and that pattern lives deeper than conscious willpower can reach. That’s why willpower alone so often isn’t enough.

How Hypnotherapy Works

Rather than relying on willpower or white-knuckling through cravings, hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious mind, where the habit actually lives. It’s a completely natural process. You remain aware and in control throughout, just deeply relaxed while the deeper work takes place.

Together we explore the triggers, emotions, and subconscious associations connected to your drinking. The stress, the routines, the social situations, the moments where alcohol feels automatic. From there, the work focuses on shifting those patterns at their root.

What to Expect

Every person’s experience is different. Some people begin to notice shifts in their relationship with alcohol after just a few sessions. Others find that longer-term support is helpful, particularly where drinking has been a coping mechanism for stress, anxiety, or past experiences.

I work with clients in person in Hervey Bay and online with people right across Australia.
