Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is best known for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and has around 30 years of research to verify its effectiveness in reprocessing traumatic memories so they no longer cause distress, nightmares, and debilitating flashbacks. It is a very safe therapy, however, it is not recommended for those who are experiencing psychosis, or who have severe dissociative disorders. My clients are continually blown away by how quickly this technique can quickly resolve cravings or traumatic memories that have been plaguing them for years. 

As a trauma-informed therapist who has completed advanced training in EMDR (training approved by the EMDRAA), EMDR is a therapy that I offer via Zoom or in person.
